Introduction
From April 2011, fathers were entitled to take six months' paternity leave in the second six months of their child's life, so long as the mother had returned to work. However, campaign groups have warned that they expect take-up to be low as they do not believe that the new paternity rights go far enough to encourage fathers to take leave. This essential-level employment law webinar will examine the impact of these proposals on employers and discuss if they go any way to bridging the gender pay gap.
