Construction Act Update

Part of the Construction Law Webinars stream

Introduction

The Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 came into force on 1st October 2011. It aims to facilitate a prompt flow of cash down the construction supply chain and, in order to achieve this, it has made significant amendments to payment mechanisms. It has also made provision for fairer allocation of costs in adjudication. This pertinent webinar will scrutinise the practical implications of the Act and examine the grounds for challenging adjudicators’ decisions.
