Webinars Subscription: Construction Law

Part of the Construction Law Webinars stream

Introduction

The Construction Law Webinars continue to go from strength to strength, and so Butterworths has launched its third series. Once again they will cover key issues relating to construction law whilst focusing on relevant topics in the current climate. Initially, consider how to select the appropriate construction contract before looking at procurement and of course competition and bribery. The latest developments surrounding the JCT family of contracts will also be considered together with a review of NEC3. Project security is an important factor in the current market and so that will be given its own dedicated session, as will professional negligence and consultant’s appointment, both of which have been brought into sharper focus in the current times.

Finally, no webinar series would be complete without consideration of adjudication and payment provisions as a result of the introduction of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act. That session is planned for next September, so we can consider the Act one year on.
