The case of Baker v Quantum Clothing Group Ltd and others [2011] UKSC 17 clarified the law on noise induced hearing loss. The Supreme Court ruled that the employer was not responsible for the employee’s noise induced loss of hearing as the noise levels did not exceed the threshold for protection. The ruling is welcomed by employers and insurers.

Our speakers will analyse this decision and offer you an update on the latest case law and regulatory developments affecting industrial disease
