Private Children Law Update

Part of the Family Law Webinars Stream

Introduction

The Revised Private Law Programme came into effect on the 1st April 2010. It seeks to build on the success of the initial programme whilst recognising the growing impact of domestic violence and abuse, drug and alcohol misuse and mental illness when considering issues in private family law.

It is also designed to assist parties to reach safe agreements and to promote outcomes that are sustainable, that are in the best interests of children and that take account of their perspectives.

This webinar will examine whether the Revised Programme has met its objectives alongside all other recent case law and guidance involving private children law.
