10 years after the Public Interest Disclosure Act came into the force, the law related to whistleblowing continues to develop at a fast pace, with the latest statistics showing around 1,500 claims per year. As well, new proposals on whistleblowing claims, from the Government, are likely to increase the appropriate industry regulator’s powers of scrutiny.
