This course will review all strands of discrimination in the workplace reviewing the Equality Act and other relevant legislation and Codes of Practice. It will look at the growth of discrimination claims with reference to case law. There will also be a short review session on the public sector equality duties.

Course delegates will receive a comprehensive training manual specially prepared by the tutors for the course, which will act as an invaluable guide well after the course is over. Plus, the latest edition of the Butterworths Employment Law Handbook will be distributed to delegates attending the course. The Handbook provides important statutory and case law references, extracts from relevant legislation, Codes of Practice and Guidance.

The course is designed to be highly interactive and participative with opportunities provided for questions and exchange of knowledge with other attendees. Please note that delegate numbers are limited to 15 to ensure that those attending have a real chance to engage with the tutors and to maximise their learning experience, in small, interactive groups.
