Introduction

Performance and attendance issues are increasingly a problem for employers, particularly when disability-related. These issues have become even more significant with the phasing out of the default retirement age and the need to properly manage an older workforce.

Generally an HR issue, in-house legal advisers are more frequently being asked to advise when matters reach an impasse and / or relationships have broken down – often with the threat of litigation.

This highly practical one-day seminar, led by tutor – Mark Landon – will focus on key problem areas, including the impact of the broader disability protection under the Equality Act 2010.
