Financial Services Investigations and Enforcement

In February this year the Government published its consultation, “A new approach to financial regulation – building a stronger system”. This report outlined the coalition government’s intention to abolish the FSA and replace it with three new bodies. With these significant changes to the structure of the financial service sector, many have been left wondering where enforcement will sit within this structure and how these new bodies are going to work together.

Featuring Tracey McDermott, Acting Head of Enforcement and Financial Crime, FSA and a panel of industry luminaries, this conference will offer you the opportunity to hear directly from the FSA on their priorities going forward and how they see the future unfolding. We will also examine the realities and practicalities facing institutions when they are being investigated.
