Regulation Of Health & Social Care Providers

Practical guidance to mitigate risk and thrive in the new regulatory regime

Introduction

2010 has seen seismic changes to the ways in which providers of health and social care are regulated. For the first time, they are governed by a single integrated regulator, the Care Quality Commission. The National Minimum Standards have been replaced and providers of health and social care now need to comply with the essential standards for quality and safety.

Chaired by Sarah Ellson of Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP, Butterworths’ forthcoming conference will be an excellent opportunity to discuss how the new regulatory regime is working in practice. We are particularly delighted to welcome Cynthia Bower, Chief Executive, Care Quality Commission and Judge Aitken, Deputy Chamber President, Health, Education and Social Care Chamber as the keynote speakers at this event.
