Introduction To Pensions

A comprehensive one-day course covering pension basics for non-specialists

Introduction

Why attend this course?
Despite government initiatives aimed at simplification, pensions remains a complex subject. This course is intended to strip away the jargon and explain the fundamentals of pension provision by employers in the UK.

How does this course work?
This course starts from basics but goes on to deal with all the main developments in context. It concentrates on employer pension provision and touches on personal  pensions and state pensions too.

All three speakers will be present throughout the day and will expand on the topics of most interest to delegates. They will be pleased to respond to delegates’ questions and discussion is encouraged. By the end of the course delegates should have a sound grasp of the fundamentals, an understanding of the recent changes and be able to appreciate future developments as they emerge.
